Annie Chavarria Annie Chavarria is a Senior HR Consultant and Vice President of the Spanish Language Business Solutions division of Puente. She works as a strategic business partner to Puente's clients and focuses on meeting compliance requirements in a state-of-the-art way that makes business sense. Her goals are always to prevent costly HR missteps and to help clients navigate the complexities of today’s workplace. Ms. Chavarria is an expert HR trainer with over 20 years of management experience in the hospitality, medical, real estate, mortgage, and education industries. Fully bilingual and bicultural, she studied
at the University of Central America in El Salvador and received her undergraduate degree in business administration with an emphasis on human resources from California State University, Fullerton.

Ms. Chavarria's HR expertise encompasses the areas of recruitment, benefits, training and development, and employee relations. She offers clients a unique combination of services by training in English and Spanish in the areas of sexual harassment prevention, workplace investigations, and HR policies and procedures. She also develops employee handbooks and company policies and procedures. When not training, Ms. Chavarria ensures immediate impact and lasting value by providing extensive work on HR department assessments and wage and hour audits, including drafting employee questionnaires in English and Spanish, formulating templates for employee and management interviews, conducting employee interviews, compiling and analyzing information from those interviews, setting up statistical sampling and other related functions. Ms. Chavarria is also fully skilled at administering and assessing all components of Puente’s Spanish proficiency test.
