On the front end, we often join forces with litigation counsel to provide audit or assessment services, such as conducting comprehensive I-9 and wage and hour audits that ensure compliance with applicable regulations and fairness to employees before lawsuits are filed.
Puente also provides a variety of services to assist trial attorneys (for plaintiffs or defendants) during litigation. These services include: - Providing comprehensive counsel to litigators regarding employment laws;
- Conducting internal investigations (in English and/or in Spanish);
- Interviewing and obtaining declarations from witnesses (in English or in Spanish);
- Assisting with class action matters (wage and hour, discrimination, etc.).
Upon resolution of litigation, our staff is also experienced in providing training mandated by settlement agreements or EEOC/DFEH consent decrees.
